Kate Riley, who has been freelancing with CNN International since June 1, has officially joined the network as a World Sport anchor, according to TVNewser.
“During her summer freelance stint with us, Kate established herself as a valuable contributor both in studio and in the field. Her on-location coverage of the Women’s World Cup in Canada was a special highlight.
“Kate brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having covered international sports across Europe, the Middle East, and now North America. Prior to joining CNN International, Kate anchored with both Sky and the BBC. She has a Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism from Cardiff University and speaks French, German, and basic Arabic.”
