Kensington launches Mead-inspired tablet cases

Kensington is bringing Mead’s iconic Trapper Keeper and Pee-Chee back with a modern twist for the modern tablet user.

The new cases are themed with the images that are now synonymous with studnets and academics from the ‘80s — from sporty athletic patterns to colorful floral and artistic prints. The universal folio provides protection for all seven or 10-inch models.

A secure magnetic flap and versatile four-corner silicone base keep the tablet snug for protection, while allowing for easy removal if needed.

Jessica Hodges, Mead Senior Director of Marketing:

“We are excited to work with Kensington to reintroduce two of our most recognized and celebrated sub brands and designs to a new generation of students. It’s a natural partnership for us to expand these iconic lines into the tablet category, and we’re looking forward to our consumers’ response to using these new products with their favorite tech tools.”

Greg Agustin, Kensington Global Product Manager:

“There is definite appeal and nostalgia in marrying classic designs to new technology solutions, and we are delighted to release a collection that combines contemporary tablet accessories with such iconic designs from Mead. Introducing this new line of tablet folios is especially fitting when you consider how quickly students are choosing digital tools.”

Full pricing is listed below:

  • 7-8” tablets: $24.99
  • 10” tablets: $29.99
