Acer launched the industry’s first Chromebook running a 4th Generation Intel Core i3 processor Thursday. The Acer C720 Chromebook is now available in two models powered by the Intel Core i3 processor to provide customers faster and more responsive performance for multi-tasking, while also providing up to 8.5 hours of battery life.

The Acer C720 Chromebook will be available in two models with a 1.7GHz Intel Core i3-40005U processor. The Acer C720-3404 will have 4GB of RAM and will be priced at $379.99, while the C720-3871 will have 2GB of RAM and will be priced for $349.99. They will be available this month at North American retailers.
