Starting today, all Forza Motorsport 5 players can race Nürburgring for free.
This is the third track add-on for the game — after Road America in February and Long Beach in April. This version of the Ring includes the full GP circuit, the massive 13-mile Nordschleife and the 16-mile combined circuit.
The track was laser-scanned with the latest in laser-scanning technology to capture the track at an unprecedented level of fidelity.
Twenty six thousand trees line the track, which were created by more than 30 artists in more than 13,000 man hours.
The track has massive elevation changes, surface variety and camber changes to keep gamers on their toes, lap after lap.
This track will be incorporated into Career Mode, Rivals Mode, and new Multiplayer lobbies where you can race the Ring with up to 15 other players.
In addition to the track, Turn 10 released the Nürburgring Booster Car Pack, featuring five cars to collect, race and customize. They are:
- 1989 Audi #4 Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO
- 1967 Brabham BT24
- 2013 Ford Formula Ford EcoBoost 200
- 1939 Maserati 8CTF
- 1956 Lotus Eleven
