BARCELONA — LG unveiled its latest device, the F70, Tuesday at Mobile World Congress 2014.
The F70 features a 4.5-inch WVGA IPS (800 x 480, 207ppi), a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a removable 2,440mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. The hardware also adds the Easy Home feature, which simplifies the home screen while increasing the size of icons and fonts, which is ideal for seniors.
The LG F70 also comes with Knock Code, an evolution of the KnockOn feature used in the G2. Knock Code enables users to both power on and unlock their smartphone by tapping a personalized pattern on the phone’s screen by using 2-8 taps, allowing for “more than 80,000 possible combinations.” Knock Code can be entered on any part of the display.
